Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Piccolo, I enjoyed a peaceful retreat that seamlessly blended comfort and nature. The hotel's wellness centre was a highlight; the Turkish steam bath and sauna provided a truly relaxing atmosphere after a day of hiking. Each morning began with a hearty breakfast in the charming restaurant, allowing for easy meet-ups with fellow travellers. I appreciated the proximity to the ski lifts, which were just a short walk away, providing convenient access to the stunning trails. A day trip to the spa town of Merano was effortlessly arranged, either by car or bus, further adding to the experience. In the evenings, the bar offered a welcoming space to unwind with some local flavours. The décor was simple yet robust, with solid wood furniture enhancing the traditional atmosphere. The thoughtfully designed facilities, from the pristine swimming pool to the spa lounge, serve as a fine backdrop to a tranquil getaway. I invite future guests to consider this hidden gem for a serene escape in the mountains.
